it probably didint do any damage, but next time a truck like that should grab it from the rear.

30 mph is kinda high, most towing recommendations are about 15-20, but the short distance you went should be fine

I like wheel lifts better. tend to do less damage believe it or not. Should have been towed from the rear, but sure it will be fine. I flat bed driver try to hook chains to tires, or pull the cars up with the hooks on the lower control arms. DO NOT LET ANY tow truck driver tell you it's OK to hook anything to the lower control arms on any car. He will say it's OK because he is lazy, but it will throw off your alignment. Anyone ever seen tears in their frame rail, especially in the rears ? Thank a flat bed driver.
50 for a tow is cheap. 50-70 just to hook up around here, and 5 dollars a mile after.

doesnt mean its right, it over heats the transmission internals because there it no fluid flow to cool it down

AAA is $50 a year and totally worth all the bennies, including roadside assistance like jumpstarts and towing. I've had to tow my car about 9-10 times over 18 years and always get a flatbed (no extra charge). It should always be hooked from the rear, especially if you have a front spoiler.

I didn't think you could tow these cars from the rear since the steering doesn't lock.

+1, DONT let them put the ho0ks in the holes on the udnerside of the frame rails, I had to fix mine b/c they tore/peeled back when a tow truck ho0ked up there. Dont be afraid to tell them no, dont hook to that. Its your car.

I had a guy try to put the ho0ks through my wheels one time! I was like, ummm, what are you doing?
