1. I don't really recommend chrome side pipes on classic Mustangs. They really belong on roadsters like Cobras and Vettes, and on some fun pickups. I installed mine because Debbie is currently in a "70s street rod" phase complete with big white letter tires, Cragar SSs, extended shackles, hood tach, modified hood scoop, etc. Unless you are going for this type of complete thematic look, if all you're doing is adding pipes, and the rest of the car is stock, they kinda look out of place. JMO, of course. The only opinion that matters is yours.

If performance is the issue, but chrome pipes don't fit in, dual glasspack application under the car dumping in front of the tire is still a great choice as long as you choose a longer muffler.
Also, I don't have a crossover H type pipe. I don't know that it would make a difference with straight-through exhaust since there's virtually no back pressure to deal with.

I am originally from NYC, and moved to SM 18 years ago. I learned to drive and got my licence when I was 32. Debbie is my first car and has been through several looks so far, including all stock complete with polyglass tires.
