Default What does this mean?

ok well, i had an old sn, forgot the u/n, pass and my email...so i made new one. but i just started into take my car apart to restore. its 1965 fastback 2+2, 289 hipo, 4spd.

so i take the fenders off, and get to sanding the paint off, well i notice, where i took the drive side fender off, right in front of the drive door, there is this logo. its and S and it had a Mustang(horse head) next to it. and ive never seen anyhting like this. can anyone help me?? heres a pic.



(it was found right inside of the Red Circle)

look hard, u can see the S and next the head. its..odd?? any help.

Maybe that part is from a junkyard and someone thought they'd be cute by drawing a mustang on it as a reminder. (although I still don't see the mustang)
