Don't care for it. Honestly I think a LeMans style cap on top of the rear fender would look better. You could even go Series III Jaguar and put one on both sides.

Now that the old filler tube is gone, you can fit a Foosball table flat in the trunk if you just take out the spare.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Since you're asking, that fuel door would make more sense if more of the car was visually modded as a racer. That door on an otherwise stock 66 looks out of place. CP

The non-fumes boot on every CA gas pump pushes the pump out and onto the ground if you don't hold it in right. If you spot weld a nozzle catch (piece of metal) to the inside of the filler tube (after you take it off the car, lol), you won't have to hold the nozzle in manually. I haven't actually gotten around to doing this, so getting gas is still a pain.

honestly I think having the fuel fill in the back was by far the best feature on the mustang. I can get any pump left/ right side back in or straight in. I can screw over the Germans, Asians, Italians, Brits and Americans (and best of all hippies) with ease when attempting to steal the last pump from the other sucker who has to back in first.

Its totally worth the small amount of gas I spill during fill up which also make me really happy because I am also screwing over hippies by hanging them with their own far left rope, which of course is made of hemp. The gas spills out and I get to laugh and think to myself "look at you now hippy your stupid invention to save the world is only making the environment and economy worse and pissing everyone off while forcing gas stations to spend unnecessary money on your far left bull**** ideas which gets passed on to us as higher fuel prices furthing the economic depression ...you hippy are going to be the last nail in CAs coffin and you will be the bad guy...the one to blame...when CA goes belly up its all going to be on you!...hahah"

So yeah that's what goes on in my head when I fill up.

Sorry not my cup of tea. It just looks too big there. I understand what you were shooting for and appears that it works for you. I agree with Gun Jam it is cool to be able to pull into a pump anyway you want. I would be more apt to spend time fixing the rear filler so it didn't leak. I did consider a fuel cell at one point and would like to see some ideas on how to make one work with the rear filler.

I would have left the gas cap alone and put the kill switch somewhere else like by the license plate or something.

cool spot for the cut off switch, but like most people said i dont like it either, i think it would look better if the fuel door was a little smaller and maybe even flush mounted. but otherwise nice craftsmanship
