Default For the MSD owners....IGNITION WIRES?

Lets hear what type of ignition cables you are running with your MSD set up.
Over the years i have nearly run out of options for suppression type ignition cables that will last more than a couple years with a high output ignition.
Are there any that will hold up or do we toss a set every winter?
Thanks

If you are talking about plug wires, I use the MSD 8.5 custom wires and make them myself. I am running a set now that are two years old with no issues. I occasionally have to replace a connector because they break or get bent up from taking them on off.

I run the Taylor 135 degree wires because the 351 in the engine compartment is a tight fit. Having the 135 degree makes it easier.

I always use CUT TO FIT WIRES... they ALWAYS look and fit better than pre cut replacements... (I don't care i8f you disagree.... I know I am right anyway.... )

MSD Cut to fit wires are in my experience EXCELLENT wires, that will only fail upon DIRECT contact with a header tube or exhaust manifold.

I used TAYLOR CUT TO FIT wire on my Lincoln because they are like 1/2 the cost of MSD wires and they come in a very cool fluorescent blue...

I can't say if the Taylors are as good as the MSDs, but they look nice, they SEEM to be good, and for 1/2 the price of MSDs I won't really bitch if they last 1/2 as long....

Oh,, just in case anyone is wondering.... both MSD and Taylor wires work JUST FINE with Mallory distributors...

Neither is "brand speciffic"... or "proprietory"...

MSD cut to fit and they even come with a crimper and cut guide you use with your vice. A perfect crimp everytime!

I have a set of Taylor wires, but I'm not a fan of the outer insulation. It's pure silicone and is rather soft, unlike a lot of the other wires out there. I can take chunks out of it with my fingernails.

I use MSD wires, but my problem has been short spark plug life.
