why not use explorer/ford racing rear discs? they're a direct bolt on for the big bearing 9".

Is this possible with an 8" rear end?
Nevermind I see you said it think it should work for any rear end. I guess it makes sense that it would.

half the price with warranty to boot. But that Explorer set-up is much much nicer!
EDIT: Also that set-up is for a New Style big bearing rear end and my rear end is the old style big bearing pattern.

no, he listed everything that you will need in the first post, the brackets that weld onto the axle housing, calipers, lines, rotors, dont need spindles, with your drum rear you can use the stock retainer plate

So those brakets are the DIY part. I don't know if I trust my welding skills on a brake component.

Yes these brackets are cut to fit and require welding.
