That looks like mine did. It was probably cut for tape deck with the 2 *****. The opening in the middle is too small for those and has to be cut.
If you already have a repair panel that is painted dash color, I would opt for one the the vintage type classic style stereos. There are 2 or 3 companies that make them.
This is what I had in mine back in high school and probably the type for radio that was in yours or it could have been an older one.

My stang is too loud to think about trying to listen to music. I get in it to hear exhaust notes and wheels screetching!
All kidding aside, if I wasn't a cheap bastard right now I would love to install a kick *** sound system but my radio crapped out and ***** got lost so I threw on a radio delete to make it look nice. I use Pandora Box on my Blackberry if I ever want to hear something. I drive my other car all day for work so I get my music fix there and then get my power fix in the stang. I think I bought the delete plate on ebay for $15 maybe? Was a long time ago.

This is what I'm currently doing since my radio broke. The only problem is the amp is also on as soon as you kick the ignition on I just pull the connection to the fuse when I want to turn it off.
This is why I want to see a radio delete installed because I want to make sure it will cover my already cut dash if you saw in my pic above its opened up a little wider than the stock square.
Anyone who could post a picture of their radio delete installed would be appreciated!
