Default What else should I do?

I have a 1967 Cougar XR-7 with a 289 2-bbl(the motor's shot!)
I am planning:
351 Windsor
392 stroker crank
Aluminum heads(either edelbrock or trick flow)
BIG cam
Aluminum intake
Aluminum driveshaft
Traction-lok rear-end(it may already have it)
15 x 10(rear, 15 x 8 front) Cragar Street Star or SS
Front end off a Mustang 2(power)

Give me some more ideas!!
I will get a pic soon.

Are you REALLY sold on those heads??? I see where a lot of people are going with AFR 165 and 180 heads now. They say they blow the Edel's away. Sorry to be the bearer of this, but it might save you down the road.

Don't forget to plan the car.

Disc Brakes?
Subframes?
You got 2 front torque boxes?
Traction aid?
Transmission upgraded?

[&o]Hey, disregard my last post, the Trick Flows are just as good, if not better. I was just told that the AFR's are already ported, so the Trick Flows can be ported for more power domn the road, or now if you choose. Trick Flow is your best bet between the 3 I think.

1967 Cougar only had one torque box and thats the one the driver side! I know I've owned two 67 Cougar and a 68 and I'm looking for one now!
Why not just find a 289 or a 302 and build that? 289 Block on Eblow now, I mean ebay now for $250

why get a 289 or 302 when a 351 is the same block just built up allready..i would definently stick with the 351 idea, just my 2 cents cause i luv my 351,and ive had a few 289 and theres a huge power difference..
