I miss updates on this thread for one week and there's a BABY!!!!! So thrilled for you and your husband. I guess that will get you out of posting for a week or so... He looks very comfy :-)
So have you had that day where the biggest accomplishment is getting a shower? I remember those.

NoReigns, did not find out. Wife wants it to be a surprise so I call it "it". We think the kid will come earlier, and I agree if I did not have to buy so many diapers and other stuff I could buy more car parts. I am guessing Emmett will be choosing one of your current classics as his when he turns 16. I am hoping I can get mine done before my son asks to borrow it.

WOW A lot has changed since the last time I looked at this page. Glad to see the Engine in and the Baby! love the photo too of the babe on the car. Our first is due on Dec 16th.
So what's next for the car? What's left to do? any new updates? and videos of that engine running?

I am sorry I haven't responded OR had any updates! Emmett is doing great. He is a very (knock on wood) easy baby and has had fun the last couple of days with us out in the garage! Can't believe he will be 6 months old this week. 69fb, have you had your baby yet? Stangatic I'm assuming your baby has come? A baby puts a damper on the restoration process that's for sure!
I do have an update, however. We installed the transmission this weekend, installed the BBK long tube headers, and we are almost finished with the braided stainless fuel lines. Here is some eye candy.
We are rollin on this thing. We need to get the radiator, carpet and fold down seat yet. Other than that we have about every piece. Hopefully this means I will have some more updates soon!

Yes we did NoReigns! Had another son 8 pounds 8 ounces 21 inches long and born on December 31st (Got my Tax Credit). My car is still progressing but has slowed buying diapers for two kids, but they are truly a joy to have. Glad to see you're still making progress on your car.
I hope you and your husband are getting more sleep now. We are currently trying to manage two that are on different sleep schedules. Oh named our second son Ethan Scott.

A few things to report: we swapped out the gold intake bolts for these polished ARP's.
Because we needed three temperature sensor locations and we only had 2 in the intake, we had to have a port machined in the billet thermostat housing. We put it in the bottom so it would be out of sight. This port will be for the temperature gauge.
We installed the BeCool module and are working on the condenser lines. The Old Air kit comes with hard lines, but because of the size of the radiator, we had to order flexible lines and move them further out in order to clear.
We had a local shop install the exhaust system and make the X-pipe out of stainless, they did a great job!
While the car is there, we had them fabricate the filler tube for the gas tank. They are finishing up the venting system now and then she will be back home.
