man whats goin on. i got a 65 coupe NOT FASTBACK shes not very bright. Its a 289 with a c-4. I had to replace the whole cooling system once because my radiator blew! I took it to some radiator shop to get it fixed. Now I just bought a four barrel intake manifold. It is a weiand brand. nothing special. I just got a job at kroger so the carb is not far away. it is just primer with only small amounts of superficial rust. Interior is fine. so its pretty needs body work, paint and suspension. Who knows what else will happen with the engine. I want to rebuild it sometime. What mufflers and headers do you have on your car? It is really loud. DO you even have any exhaust? Ill post pictures after the ohio state game.

that engine pic is before i replaced the water pump and thermostat housing, degreased the engine, and reapainted the black. Pretty soon i will have the new carb and manifold. I have also repainted the valve covers and small stuff like that.

If that is a 65, you have the wrong colors on your engine. The 66 had the corporate blue valve covers, but the 65's were gold.

Well, his car is a 65, and Yeah, i believe the engines were painted black, and the valve covers were painted Gold, along with the Air Cleaner.
