Winter storage in NH
Well, it's now done for the season.
I have 20-50 in her so I willl need to change that out to what, 10-30?
Also, how often should I crank it over? Is there anything else I need to worry about?

Minnesota park it with old oil, spray rims with wd40 to keep from rusting or anything, fuel stabilizer, car cover. I dont run mine at all in winter if im not working on it. Ohh i add dryer sheets to inside to keep it smelling good i also tape up the exhaust on the car that runs dumps.

I live in Northern Virginia, where the nights may get into the 20's but most days are above freezing. My winterizing routine is:
- check tire pressure
- add Sta-Bil
- top off gas tank
- disconnect battery cables
- connect battery tender (float charger)
- put on car cover
I try to give it a wash & wax before the end of the season, but that doesn't always happen. I've heard dryer sheets are also good for keeping mice out. I had not heard of putting WD-40 on the rims before. Moisture is not a big problem in my garage. You could consider putting pieces of plywood under your tires if you're worried about moisture from the concrete dry-rotting your tires. Some people recommend changing the oil before storing...but I haven't done that myself in years. Lastly, like jp1967stang, I rarely start it during the winter unless I'm working on it.
Good luck.

Show off
For me
- tank below 1/4 and stabil
- charge the battery and then disconnect
- used to have some dessicant bags to put over the brakes but havent got any on hand now.
- Mouse traps under the car and around the garage, hopefully kill them before they get in the car.

Try to minimize air changes from cold to warm. In other words if it's been in the twenties overnight but now a rainy warm front has rolled in and it's in the forties, don't open the garage door. This keeps moisture from forming on all the surfaces of the car. Think of a cold glass of beer in the summer. Gradual change is key.

Never heard of dryer sheets. Keep that in mind once I get to that point. Tape up exhaust....what for? Do you mean tape over tailpipe? And as I'm new and don't know you, what do you mean 'runs dumps'?
