Default 76 Mustang Coupe - Charlotte NC

Purchased this 67 Mustang Coupe in October 2010. Goal was to be a project with son.

Day 1 - tear down!

Gutted the interior to get a good sense of the floors (sorry for quality of pictures).

Driver's side - no good

Passenger side - looks like the layered sheet metal over the floor pan. Was sturdy in terms of weight

But will remove the sheet metal and take a closer look.

Pulled the bucket seats and found:

Yes that is a pair of mens underwear. Geez this is not a good sign.

Can you change the title so it says 67 instead of 76 like it does now?

Hehe, I opened this thread up just to see what a 76 coupe was.

Main topic, your car looks like it has a lot of promise....I look forward to seeing how the future of this one turns out. The engine bay looks like mine a few years ago.

Oooops - cannot blame dislexia on the 67 vs 76 as the site will not let me edit Sorry - I have fat fingers.

After more exploring - project looked more involved than had hoped (isn't that always the case)
