Default 1965 GT clutch spring, fork to z bar

This car didn't have one of these springs when I started working on it. CJponyparts doesn't having a listing for it on a 65, but they show one for a 66. They sent the one for the 66, and it doesn't look right. That being said I really don't know what it's suppose to look like. It's just not what I pictured in my mind. I don't have pics of it yet. I didn't want to open the package yet until I could see one in place. Thanks for any input.

The one on my '67 hooks into the hole on the fork on one end, and into a hole on the frame rail on the other end.
