lol, yeah, unless my kid was a professional driver, i would never let them drive an old mustang with a trailer farther than around the block. get them a one way rental and ship the car.
those old mustang brakes barely stop the car with just a driver and if it has skinny tires and one has to make an emergency stop, well... someone might be buyin flowers and they won't be for a party.
there's a whole lot of poor...ok, well STUPID drivers out there, and it just takes one to ruin your day.

I agree with just shipping the college stuff. The car has a fair sized trunk and back seat. Anything else, I'd ship or just buy another one at college. Some things are easier purchased there than risk a problem. If she ends up with too much, store it over the summer somewhere around the college and she can get it next year.
