I am new to the forum and would like to thank everyone for the welcomes I have a 70 mach 1 my question is has anyone ever put factory lower a/c vents in a non a/c dash. searched everywhere and have not found any templates, not sure if its even possible. I have all the factory vents and would like to go ahead and install them when I replace the dash pad in hope of installing an aftermarket a/c system this summer

I've never heard of anyone doing this but I suppose you could since there is nothing special about the holes, other than the fact they are located on the curved part of the dash. You could make a reverse template from the vents you have and use that to mark the dash.

When I converted my two 69 non/AC cars to AC, I simply bought the AC lower dash, but that has been several years ago and I suppose they are getting hard to find.

yes the dashes are the same but there are no templates.

if they did come with templates they would probably be for the aftermarket vents offered in the kit . I'll give them a call and see
