Default 65 or 66 Fastback measurement needed

Hi guys,

I'm building a "1966 Coupe to Fastback conversion". I have the fastback roof installed but now I need a little help.

Since my car (as a coupe) didn't come with any of the fastback rear interior mounting locations, I'm in need of a measurement. I have the large lower side panels, the ones that the seat folds and lays down on, I need to know what the factory OEM gap is where the seat back rest on those ledges, when folded forward.

It's the clearance measurement on the top side of the ledges. The OEM backrest panel is 41 1/8" wide with no chrome trim, etc. The OEM measurement I need is going to be around 42" or so.

For someone with a 65 or 66 fastback, it shouldn't take but 10 seconds to measure this for me. Thanks for your help!!

If I'm not clear in my description, I can draw a quick picture.

Dudley

Thanks anyway. I found a guy with a 65 fastback and I was able to read the width on his car.
