The Tire-rub/ Caster issue solved
Some of you are going to cringe when you see I chopped up my factory valence...all I have to say to those people is I'm not a purist nor will I be restoring this vehicle to original so no real harm done. Function over form.
With a borgeson box you need all the caster you can get, which bring the front wheels forward. Had I known this was an issue before doing the shelby drop I would have drilled the new holes towards the back of the car 1/4" or so. My options now were to either have a sub-par alignment or to modify valence so my choice was easy.
Like I said its not body shop quality but I'm happy with the results...no rubbing now. The tubing is temporary fyi...
First pic shows where tire was rubbing
Where I cut
Finished product

A line to cut along. Tape allowed for a smooth transition that I'm certainly not capable of drawing. Next time i would tape the remaining side leaving only 1/8" line exposed. I did jump the cutting wheel 2x each side, but I'm less into aesthetic stuff in terms of polish/finish so I wasn't concerned. I'm trying to think of something i can easily flex around the edge to make it look proper.
