Default Stock take-off power steering conversion with z-bar

Hey guys, I have a line on a local power steering set up that is being taken out of a 68 cougar. Long term I would like to do electric power steering but I was thinking this might be good for the short term. The seller made mention I might run into issues clearing the Z-bar in my 67 mustang. The cougar is automatic. Was there differences in the power steering for the auto cars versus the manual cars? As it is stock take-off I would think it should fit but figured I would ask before purchasing.

Thanks guys.
