some times you can get a cutoff wheel in between the mount and the spring to cut the bolt back a bit further. Or I've even used the cutoff to cut the wrap on the spring eye so I can pop the bushing out as one piece. Since you're not saving the spring its not a big deal to cut it.

Everything fit in like a charm tonight. Time to do the front suspension?

Anyone have any experience with 6 cylinder front coil springs used for drag racing?

looks like some Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout helpin ya out.

6 cylinder springs help on a drag car that runs 12.0 or faster but they work like 6 cylinder springs on the street.

You will also want some cal tracs if you race it.

Need to find some spindles this week, but damn those things aren't cheap. The gentleman I purchased the mustang from had stripped and tossed all the drivetrain/suspension components to do a late model install on. So most of these items I have to purchase. 70 disc spindles look like the way to go at about $329 for a pair. Looks like I will be getting in line at the local soup kitchen this month!
