So here's the problem...

The body shop put my new trunk pan in but did not save the cross member that welds to the bottom of the trunk pan for the tank straps to mount into. If anybody has pictures from under their 71-73 mustang of how the gas tank mounts to that cross member, please post them. Any measurements will be appreciated too. I'm thinking I will just have to have it fabricated when the car goes for paint.

And don't worry. I will not be going back to the body shop that did the original body work...
