anyone got a step by step guide? how there replacement top fit where it came from etc pics of installation for a FOX?

My Chilton repair manual has a step by step guide with pictures. I could post it up tonight, but I dont have time this morning.

If you replace your convertible top, and you have a fox mustang... be sure to remove two little springs, one on each side of your top... These springs were used from the factory, but they really have no purpose... If you put on a new top, these springs will rip through your new top. I have seen this happen to every vert with a new top... The guy that I took my car to removed the springs and I have never had a rip yet, and my top is about 3 years old.

pay someone that knows what they are doing.

watched them do mine at my work, it looked like a ROYAL pain in the a$$

they did let it sit out in the Texas summer sun to heat up and get stretchy before hand
too, dont how well yours is going to do in the winter.............
