Question Convertible Top help...

Hey guys. I have a 1944 GT that needs a new convertible top. I know where i can get a good top with the frame for 200.00, or i can get just the top for 165.00. Will it be easier to replace the entire frame, or just the top? Any advice that can be given is much appreciated!

Thanks.

Mike

You have a really old 'Stang!

From what I saw in the factory service manual, it looks like it would be easier to replace the top and frame as a single assembly.
