Default 2001 - Convertible top hydraulics question

I have an 01 base convertible. The top hydraulics are leaky and the motor seems weak and noisy. Several of the used systems I have found listed online are for the 94-98 model, while others state 94-04. In the pictures, the components look identical.

Can anyone confirm if convertible hydraulics components (rams and motor) from a 94-98 Mustang will be a correct fit for my 2001?

Thanks for any help or advice!

I believe that the 94-98 rams are a bit larger. Just by a set for your year. I also suggest that you buy a new set of lines and make sure that you do not strip the threads as you screw them in. They are very easy to cross thread. One more thing, your motor sounds noisy and is weak because you probably have air in the line and low
on fluid. I would change the rams and lines, bleed the system and see if that solves your problem. It is an easy job, just very messy.

Thanks for your advice. Just ordered a used set up from a 2003 on ebay. Hope to install this weekend.
