Default Chin spoiler painting

Hey guys whats good., Getting back into working on my stang and its going in for bodywork very soon. Iam going to be picking up a chin spoiler for it( I had bought a vader bumper but it just wasnt my thing so iamgoing be be getting that sold aswell lol. I feel this will have a much cleaner look to. But my question to you guys is, do you feel it will be alot of work to have it painted to match my car? Any thoghts would be awesome, Thanks fellas

what year is your car? if it is a s197 then it will be easy to paint to match. if you have one of the black plastic spoilers for the 94-04 then its going to be hard to paint, because it is so flexible.

yeah, so its the black, textured plastic one like mine. it can be painted, but there is going to have to be alot of flex agent in it. i personally like them black, they stand out a little more. what color is your car going to be?

My car is white, i just wasnt sure how good it would look without it being painted to match. What do you think?

yah it isn't even a flexing agent that would be the problem. the texture of the chin spolier doesn't allow for a good paint surface. every rock on the road is gonna chip that thing to s hit. plus, it looks better black.

thats not to bad at all. I think i would of put it a little more to the front though.

yeah, i have mine a little more flush with the front bumper. i think it flows better that way. some people align it with the front of the bumper, and some align it with the edge of the front wheel wells.

Yeah i like yours, thats how iam going to have it. Ive been playing with the idea of painting my car black too, but iam not sure if it would be worth the money or evenlook better black.
