Default Calling Dylan@Adams

I have a 03 Azure Blue Mach 1 and i recentyl had some pretty agressive race pads on which created a lot of brake dust. the only thing that would get it off the doors was to claybar it. But I think the bar got so dirty so quick I had made some light swirl marks on the doors.

I had come across "Junkman" on youtube and this is how I learned about your products. Then came in here to the detailing section and voila! you are a sponsor lol. I was looking to get the "Junkman kit" with some rags/claybar/detailing spray/PC buffer/ the three large pads and acompanying compounds.

I heard on videos that it isn;t a good idea to use the buffer on corners as to now ruin the paint, but since the New Edge mustangs are full of corners, not to mention I have the factory decals on the hood and bottom of the doors.

Would it be wise to pick up the 4" pads to get in smaller places? I was thinking to use blue or green painters tape over the decals to protect them.

I am pretty serious about picking up this kit as it seems to work awesome and the Junkman videos are what prove it to me, seeming to be raw and unedited which shows the product seems to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dean

This is what I am dealing with all over the car. And now some added "texture" on my doors due to the claybar lol

An example of the hood and all the corners/radius edges that may require the 4" pads??

my fellow Mass buddy, now residing in Kentucky the focus pads are great for getting areas the PC wouldn't get into(both are GREAT products)...for your rims, i'd say the wheel brush that attaches to a drill and some green wheel cleaner...basically, i'd look into the Junkman correction kit and the focus pads and wheel brush...that would help with everything you need...and remember...

GREEN pad...GREEN product
ORANGE pad...ORANGE product
WHITE pad...WHITE product
GREY pad...GREY product lol

and don't forget to use your forum code and save 10%

i think i should be the MA Adam's spokesperson lol...did i miss anything here Dylan

^ ahaha Shadyyyy what's up. Yea ive watched like 10 videos of the Junkman's on youtube. They could be 10 min shorter if he didn't repeat the same thing 5 times ahahaha. I don't care so much about my wheels. They will serve as winter wheels since I have the 18" black saleens for the summer.

Simple green and a toothbrush works great LOL.

Have you got the PC and done this to your car?? I'm 80% sure I'll pick up a kit due to the reviews and Junkman's videos, but it always helps hearing reviews from people real time and now reading them from a website from years ago you know?

a buddy of mine has a PC, i've got the adams stuff...it works wonders...haven't done anything lately because of the cold, but as soon as it gets warm i'll be detailing my but off...if you want to spend the extra $100(if the wife don't freak lol) you can get the PC kit...you basically get all the pads and products as well as the pc...if im not mistaken, the junkman kit doesn't come with the severe swirl remover(don't think you would need that though) but i'd look at the site, see what you would need and go from there...you can't go wrong with adam's products...post up the pics when you detail take care brother

Well maybe not, but every video I have seen they always go

Swirl and Haze remover
Fine machine polish
Machine super wax

and you get 90% if not all scratches out of your paint.

your car is not too bad! About the corners, as long as you don't sit on it with the pc youre fine. I would toss in the severe swirl remover and green pad. The junkman kit is a great one and i can assure you that you'll get desirable results. if i lived near you, i wouldn't mind helping you out. any more question, feel free to ask
