As the title says, I have 50 posts and 30 days of being an active forum member and I still can't make a thread in certain sections. Does a moderator need to activate my account? ( I read somthing about my account needs to be activated first) Maybe I made my account later in the day 30 days ago, so it hasn't quite hit 30 days yet.

Hope a mod can chip in.

Seems like today would be the 30th day (joined on 4/22)...sometimes the system will 'activate' a day or a few posts after. Maybe you joined later in the day or something but if it doesn't work by tomorrow let me know.
