Default Droning Vibration from Driveline

I have a vibration coming from the driveline at certain speeds.

It's a rythmic, waaaaaa-waaaaaaa-waaaaa sound.

It happens at 55mph, and around 100mph.

It goes away when I put the clutch in.

I had the driveshaft balanced yesterday, the vibe is still there.

Mods are in my signiature, the noise was there when the car was still stock.

Any ideas?

Could it be the trans mount? Just crawler under and look. Does it happen when you rev your motor up at a stand still?

Did you get new U joints after the balance?

No.
The U-joints felt fine. No sticking at all. I had three other people feel them.

It doesn't make the noise when I rev it at a stand still.

Not to get off topic, but what springs do you have on your car Dan? I love the way it sits.

Slingshot I think it might be worth your time to just change them seeing how it is not expensive or difficult. My car was droning around 80 MPH, and just as you said they seemed to be in good shape. I replaced them anyway and the car has not droned or vibrated since.
