Default engine cleaner

last owner lived on adirt road so engine looks horrible...anybody know a good produc tot use ot get it lookin better??

CD2 engine detailer. at least i think thats what its called. comes in an aerosol can. you can usually find it at auto zone or places like that. just make sure you cover your electrical system and you should be fine.

On dirt alone that is, a pressure washer will clean it up easy as pie. With grease the castrol super clean works great just let it soak for a bit.

whe nusing the pressure washer what areas of the engin edo i need to avoid spraying to hard...and should i try and wrap any of it up...or juss go crazy with it??....

get gunk engine degreaser its the best and use a pressure washer and if possible use a blow gun to dry it all off the simple solution is just to go to your local shop and ask for an engine shampoo i do a lot of them at work and they always come out nice and i just use a can of gunk and cover everything from top to bottom then spray it down with a pressure washer then dry.

try to avoid the plugs, coil, dist. and battery connections from direct pressure

I would stay away from a pressure washer on your engine bay. Just use running water to remove whatever engine cleaning product you go with. Just take your time, toothbrush and towels are you best friends.
