Default Headlight Adjustment ??

After replacing my old headlights i noticed one is higher than the other. Is there a way to correct that.

There's adjustment screws on the top of the headlight.

Find them and go to an empty parking lot after dark and shine the headlights on the side of a building and adjust them so they shine where you want them to.Don't let them get too high or other drivers will be blinded and they'll flash you just before you go past. This way you can't retaliate.

I think the normal adjustment is to park 20-25 feet away, and aim the beams 3 feet up. Also make sure they're not cross eyed, and both pointing directly forward. To do that, park close to the wall you're using. About 2 feet away. Use a tape measure, and the side adjustment screws to get them pointing forward. The center of the beams on the wall should be the same width as the headlights are on the car.

This might help.

I’ve also read where you and use a fender cover to eliminate one of the lights from shining while your adjusting the other.
