RE: HELP!! See pictures...
How does that fog lights air recicrulation work? Are they tubes stuck in the bottom to direct the air to the engine bay? Because in my car, it's pretty much in the open air...If you get on the bottom, you have the bottom fender where the fog lights are and then there's the radiator and the rest of the engine right there---I don't have a lower engine splash guard...
Sorry, I ramble...again...how does your fog lights setup work? What are the parts? Thanks!

i went to lowes and got 4" diameter duct work and 2 hose clamps with a rubber adaper. i have the cai pipes leading into the fenderwell with filter on it, then a 5"-4" adapter to go over filter, hose clamp and the ductwork traveling about 18" to the fog light itself (i have a v6 and no fog lights, just "vents" where they should be.)then i have the ductwork mounted up so it faces oncoming air. the faster i go, the faster air comes in...

Damn interesting!!...do you have a picture of that? Have you gotten any measurable results? If yes, I'd be interested in trying it out. We could call it the Atlantic Blue Air Recirculation System (ABARS). Damn. I like that!

i had a picture of it on my computer but i have a different hard drive now... its on my digital camera though. not real noticable gains... you cant "feel" a couple hp. you can hear the intake rush/whistle a lot louder, especially at higher speeds (90+) i basically made my own March Ram Air Kit for 20 bucks form the hardware store.

But that March Ram Air kit actually connects to the airbox, though...I thought yours vented the engine bay. If so, I like yours better. There are many ways of getting air from the outside--March isn't original in this setup--Ford beat them to it by building the wheel well hollow for the intake boot!

yes, mine is routed with the cai to the fenderwell then ductwork to the fog light. i just saw that product at mustangtuning's website and thought of a cheaper way to get a similar result. i dont have the factory air box, but you get the general idea?...

RE: HELP!! See pictures...
OK...I'm confused....mounted WITH THE CAI? Is the air coming through the fog light setup not going through the air filter then? If it is, how are you connecting your filter to the fog light setup? Don't understand....

RE: HELP!! See pictures...
i have the cai mounted normally with the filter in the fenderwell about 2" away from rubbing the inner fender. here i have an adapter form 5"-4" going over my filter and turn down toward the foglight (this piece rubs against the inner fender) then i have ductwork routed the rest of the way to the fog light... ill draw a pic, scan, and post it b/c my digital camera is dead battery lol... ill post it in a sec.
