Default Really could use some help !!!

I am new here and really could use some help. I have a 2003 Mustang with a V-6. I have been hearing a chirping sound that has gotten worse. I checked all the pulleys, idlers, and still cant locate the problem. I even had it checked with a UV gun at work. Now the chirping has gotten louder. And I forgot to mention the noise is intermitten. There are even some occasions where the motor bogs down and kills. It was suggested to me that I remove the belt and run the engine for a minute to eliminate the pulleys and idlers. I did this and the noise is still there, which leads me to believe the problem is in the engine. Any idea what is messed up? I am really stressing about this and could use some help.
Thanks
Gary

Get a mechanics stethoscope and start poking around until you find where it's coming from. You can pick one up at Harbor Freight for about $10.
