oil from somewhere

Just finished replacing a complete gasket job on my 84 5.0. That stopped the leaking problems I had, but now oil seems to be coming out the top of the dip stick tube, can this happen?

Ya if your rings are gone it will cause pressure in the crankcase and blow oil out of everywere
