Default Electric Fan Schematic 05-11

I'm looking to repurpose an electric fan from a 2005-2011 Mustang. Does any one have the wiring schematics to it? Wondering if I can use the thermo switch that is part of the fan shroud. Or if it's controlled by the ECM.

AzPete,

Do you also have one for a 2002 Mustang 4.6l? With the temp control built into the shroud?

I'm posting this because I searched every thread I could find on the subject of trying to figure out which component is the problem when your electric fan isn't working and there seemed to be a lack of information or what information was there was not correct.

Jean, though I do own a 67 Mustang, I'm using this '01 model Mustangs electric fan for a conversion in my 04 Explorer 4.6l. It has three wires and a thermo controller, just want to under stand how it functions on the Mustang, before hooking it up. Trying to see if it will really matters which hot wire I use for my power source.
