Default 1966 coupe no electrical power

My 66 coupe has no electrical power working. Car was running, I believe my son caused a short somewhere. Battery is new, no headlights, interior lights, nothing.
Changed ignition switch, solenoid, nothing works.

Looking for some troubleshooting advice.

check your battery cables both pos and neg. getting a good ground? Do you have power to the fuse block? Look for any fuseable links.

battery cables are new, good connections, everything worked. While car was running, my sone touched the horn button, (which was unattached) to the steering column. I'm pretty sure this caused a short, now no electrical. I replaced the ignition switch thinking that might be it. I'm told the headlight switch and cig lighter fuse always are hot from battery. these might be next for troubleshooting?

may want to stick head under dash and check the connector coming off the column. also. check horn relay. If it shorted together maybe pulling other circuits to ground. OF maybe in series on power side and lost circuit.
