Default Strange 05 GT rubbing sound

I have the strangest sound on my 05 GT automatic. It only can be noticed when you turn right and accelerate. It sound like a metal to metal sound such as a faulty wheel bearing would make or an exhaust pipe rubbing on something. My mechanic feels it is neither of these. This ever happen to anyone?

How did your mechanic come to that conclusion? Did he throw it up on a rack and look, as it sounds like your on the right path with a bad wheel bearing. But it is hard to describe / trouble shoot noise related problems over a forum.

I understand. You cant hear the noise from here. LOL
Yes, the mechanic had it on a rack. No exhaust pipes/ mufflers hitting anything. Also all wheel bearing felt and sounded good. Actually he hasn't ruled out a wheel bearing that might make a noise when loaded as the car goes to one side. In this case to the right.
However I have been driving the car a lot waiting for a wheel bearing to pack up, but not yet.
