sequential tail light kit help
hello everyone
my 2nd thread here and i wanted some help from u guys
so i have bought a raxiom tail light sequential wires kit and installed it to my 2014 roush stage 3 .. it should be plug and play kit and everything was working fine untill someone told me that i have no running light but brake lights reverse light and signals works fine .. thats when i noticed something is wrong .. i went to the fuse box and i have seen the 15 amp fuse is blown .. i changed it with another 15 amp fuse and it blow up right away .. though i could use another fuse .. i chose a 25 amp fuse .. one tail light running light worked .. the other one wires were overheated so i unplugged the sequencer and restored the normal wires and now running light is working normally .. any idea why this is happen or a potential solution for this issue
this is the kit i used >>> http://www.americanmuscle.com/raxiom...ness-1014.html
thank you

Maybe a dumb question, but wouldn't your car have already had sequentials from the factory? Every other '13+ Mustang I've seen seems to have them. I would reinstall the factory tail lamp harnesses and replace the fuse, then see if the problem still persists. If it goes away then that pretty much singles out the aftermarket harnesses as the problem.

thanks for replay Z28KLR .. well it dose but what this kit do is add a new features to the sequential light .. watch this vid>>
i did exactly what u said which is reinstall the factory harnesses and the problem is solved now .. i think its the aftermarket harnesses is the reason but a good thing it has a 2 years warranty so i might just replace it
thanks again
thanks again

word to the wise: never put in a higher rated fuse than the one which blew. If a fuse blows, then the replacement one blows, the problem is not the fuse. sounds like the kit you bought is defective, take it up with American Muscle.
