figuring out which par of '98 my key is from
If I am reading things correctly, keys changed midway through '98, with only one existing key being necessary to add key during the early part, and two for the later, with a dealer or locksmith needed if only one was available.
If this is correct, how do I tell which I have? is there a cutoff VIN? a date stamp?
(yes, naturally, it only came with one key)
