Default Clutch

I have a 1968 mustang 200 6 cylinder and I've been having problems with the clutch. I find that I have to push the clutch all the way to the floor in order to shift gears, and sometimes I have to forcefully put it into 1st if I'm lucky, if not I have to go into second because it's a bit easier to put into 2nd. Any ideas on what it could be and how to fix??

Welcome to the forum, sorry I can't help. But there is a section in this forum devoted to the classics. Might want to ask in there. Good luck

If the clutch isn't slipping then a simple adjustment to take up the slack is all that's needed. There should be some type of threaded rod adjustment on a cable actuated clutch.
