Default Bosch 1 - 4 point Plat Plugs,

Ok Guys, what do you think about the Bosch Platnum plugs that we see everywhere in Kregan and Autozone parts stores?

For a while I wanted to get the +4 Play plugs because of all the hype built up around them, but researching it a little more from mechanics, i hear that they really dont help to add anything, and they put extra strain on your ignition system thus shortening its life.

Personally I am going with NGK, tell me how you guys feel about those too. Also, tell me your favorite plugs you guys run, im interested in seeing what you have.

Thanks guys.

Default Bosch 1 - 4 point Plat Plugs,

NGK Makes a kickass Iridium core plug thats almost $7 dollars, but its suppose to be better then the plats because of a higher melting point and a stronger metal. It also conducts electricity better too, as far as how much better, I dont know.

Here is their website http://www.ngk.com/results_app.asp?AAIA=1134155

I decided that I would just go with the Autolite Single Plat plugs, they were a good price of $1.39ec. and I have used Autolite products in the past and liked them just fine.

Autozone And Kregan both told me that NGK simply doesnt make spark plugs for Mustangs, LOL ya right A$$holes They kept trying to sell me on the BOSCH plat4's but I told them I didnt want those, and yet they kept trying to sell them to me, it pissed me off.

NO2JUNKIE ya i dont have anything against you either, we just got off on the wrong foot. Sorry for being an A$$hole

As for the Iridium tips, yes they are pretty nice, but im not prepaired to pay $7 dollars a plug just yet, not till i have some money into the engine ^_^;;

And as for BOSCH plats, im completly turned off to them now except for the Bosch single plats, those are actually pretty nice, just as good as the next plat out there, Used a set in my X-Fiances 68' Stang (her plugs were capped and burned and oily and everything) and those plugs really made a nice difference.

For single plat plugs I guess just about everyone out there making them makes them good, anything after that and it starts to not be worth your money VS the gain (if any gain)

Default Bosch 1 - 4 point Plat Plugs,

I like my Bosch's I have the platinum 2+s, and they work ok. Don't get the fours, they have been known to fall off due to weakness of the nodes attached to the base.
