Tail of the Dragon (April 28th) - Georgia Discussion
This is a thread for anyone from Metro ATL and surrounding areas to talk through heading up to meet with the Carolina Chapter for a fun afternoon of driving!
I know I am not well known around the boards yet, but this is my 4th Mustang and have always loved them since I was 18 and wanted to become more active on the boards after taking a break from Mustangs for about 7-8 years...maybe longer.
My thought was to meet the larger group in Waynesville in NC for lunch. Probably about a 2hour drive from NE ATL. I will link in the route map when I get a chance later today or by this weekend at the latest. Thanks and looking forward to meeting some other owners in person. Stephen

Here is the link to the main thread.

The most straight forward route to Waynesville I know is up I-985 to 441 and so on into NC. Any thoughts from anyone from Georgia on this route or a good meeting place around Atlanta?
Exit 4 off 985 is by Mall of Georgia and there are a couple of places right off the highway where people could meet for the ride up? Let us know if you are interested. Thanks, Stephen

Hi,
I haven't really been active on this forum because I usually get on moddedmustang.com. I'm interested in going but I have only been on a mtn run once, which was three days ago. I have been hooked ever since, but I know I am a newbie in terms of driving. I would like to participate if it's okay. How many ppl are going?
