I'm new on this idea of supercharging engines and making performance mods on the car but, as more I read this forum, more ideas come to my head about what to do to my GT... I was trying to find out if anyone here supercharged his/her stang and in addition to it... puts the Nitro on... is it too much for the car? Right now I have no mods on, my idea is to get the Saleen supercharger (I have read it is a very good option to preserve the life of the engine)... and the Nitro will be just for for the Track races and some fun... let me know if I am building a machine that will blowout at any moment guys.

do the s/c with a snow methanol/water injection kit. it will allow you to run more boost and more timing without fear of detonation which usually is what kills these engines. it also allows you to run the stock fuel system to a higher hp level since the methanolo richens the a/f and cools at the same time. alcohol is the perfect fuel for s/c's. no doubts.it has a high octane dissipates heat very effectively and makes more power safely. scratch the n20 and go with alky instead. your engine with thank you.

+1 - when reaching for power - definitely need forged internals... meth or juice it is strongly recommended...
