lost in kuwait

im here in kuwait and noboby can seem to get the 5w20 oil here even the dealer dosnt have it i order it but that was 2 months a go and they dont have a clue when it will be here what i need to know is thier any other type of oil i can use i cant order it because all i have is an apo and they wont take oil products if their is anybody from uae or ksa that can find some give me a name and phone number that be great thanks

ya know, i was in kuwait once. for a much different reason that looking for mustangs, but i happen to see one when i was out "walking around". man was it nice. its nice to see such an awesome car cruising wherever ya go. and it brings a little piece of home to ya when ya need it most.

Anybody else see the irony of a guy in Kuwait unable to find oil?
Order some Royal Purple from an online distributor...or get the 5W-30.

+1, when I was on vacation and my oil change was due, I took it to a small town Ford dealership, all they had was 5w-30, it works fine. You might lose a couple of horses because it's less viscous, but I wouldn't worry about it. I didn't notice the difference.

This just seems too ironic to be true, but I agree use 5w30 you will be fine.

I don't think it's ironic. In Kuwait there is probably not NEARLY the call for your high-end oils as there is back in the states. Keep in mind, despite there being an abundance of oil, most kuwaities have no need for it. (Have you seen what they drive over there?)

It's not surprising to me, it just seems funny to me that it's hard to find oil in a country that produces as much oil as his.
