Is there a sound difference with the CAI as well? This looks like a sweet kit if it really is the best for 12.80's!

There is no way in hell with just a CAI his tune and MAC mufflers a Mustang gains a second in the 1/4 mile over stock. I have the Tunable Induction CAI, 93 octane tune and MAC mufflers and mine went 13.5@104.5

The C&L is good, but not THAT good. I also doubt their tune is making that much of a difference... they are essentially saying they're making similar power to an '03/'04 Cobra, which we know ain't the case.

Yes, there is a sound difference when installing a CAI almost like listening to a carb when the secondaries open up.

If it's true they have the fastest GT in the U.S. and probably the world with only these mods. 12.8 105. That's one secret tune.

I'm going to try and make sense of your post, are you saying that you agree it's possible to go 12.8@105 with just a CAI, tune and mufflers or that you need all of the stuff you have to go 12.8... then more stuff to go 12.2... so, you gained .75 tenths from 4.30's, shocks and better tires.. EDIT, no wait, what you're saying is that with UDP's, JLT, X-Pipe and Nitto's you dropped about 9+ tenths off a stock cars time, then with shocks and more gear yet another .75 tenths.... WOW...so you're smoking some serious Cobra a$$ then 'eh? I bet they wish they could go as fast since all they have is a supercharger and all.

I must have the dog of the litter folks...

I do agree regarding Brent, he is a great guy, but he's smoking some very very bad sheeeeet if he expects us to swallow 12.8@105 with just a CAI, tune and mufflers.

John, I don't care if he had the launch to end all launch's the car has to accelerate after the launch and the 3V Mustang doesn't have the oats to run a 12.8 with just a CAI, tune and mufflers. I see you claiming he used ET Street's, which doesn't matter, even if he was using them with a perfect track on the perfect day he wouldn't run a 12.8 with just those mods.

Heck, I haven't even seen a Mach 1 owner with the nads to claim something like this (sorry Mach owners, no offense)... why, because it didn't happen, not with that setup anyway.
