nice hood, very nice. i just got the cervini concept ram air hood, similar, think smaller vents. mine doesnt have the mesh inside the vents. did yours come with it? I am wondering how to handle it? is it necessary? guess ill know soon enough, they painting it tomorrow. do you notice less hood shake with the extra weight from the fiberglass hood? ill have pics saturday.

if you got the functional ram air kit with it i would recommend the mesh. mine is functional and the mesh came with it. and to be honest. i see the hood shake more than ever. at the windshield side it sits like an 1.5/2 inches higher so all the wind seems to move it a more.

I really am surprised at how good this turned out. I used this same set on my old pickup that I was restoring. I had dropped a new 302 in it with crane performance cam, edelbrock perf intake, holley 650cfm, headers, etc...and it was doing great. Then I started chroming it out with all the usual goodies you would have done back then and did this kit. It looked like crap. I ultimately ended up pulling it off. But your install looks so good I would reconsider it again.

I like everything except the F O R D thing. I know it was on the classics, but to me, it just goes back a little too far. Nice clean ride though.

Anyone know... Is the Roush intake just a rebadged Airaid?

I'm thinking that's what Roush does...take other manufacurer's parts and put them on a Roush Signature Series vehicle, then plaster the Roush name on everything. Am I correct?

Do you think you could take a picture of the underside of the hood? I'd like to see how those vents look.

you might be right. i don't know, but i do know i got the intake for 300 shipped and i'd rather have roush under the hood than airaid.
