well so far i've been flooring it a lot.. and with the tune it shifts a lot harder than stock so it would wear it out a lot faster.. so far no trouble.. but i also only have 4,000 miles on the car..

The 3rd gear band seems to be the weak point, also the tq. convertor. I burnt my 3rd gear band up after 2k miles with 455 rwhp. Quite a few others have also. After getting it replaced it has been fine now for about 8k but I haven't beat on it quite as hard as before. I also added aPA deep dish pan from Brenspeed so I can keep an eye on the fluid level. I have read on the forums how many people have more tq. and rwhp then me race all the time and the trans is fine, I would like to know there secret.

here is some interesting info I found on the tranny while looking up shift kits for the car-
unfortunantly the only shift kits I found were re-worked valve bodies over at level 10,not
sure but I think it's their hydrosytem valve bodies, it's like $750 bucks for a new system.
Would be nice to have but more of icing on the cake for now lol
