I respectfully disagree, I learned to drive a clutch on an international tractor trailer with a broken tach, and I'm glad it was broke, I don't need a tach or a shift light to know when to shift, I can feel it, and its different in every vehicle, and as I said before, I tell the car what to do, it dosnt tell me what to do, if you like siting there just pointing the car, that's great, but I like driving it, and its not a matter of whether you can shift faster then the car, as the car will only shift so fast, its knowing when to move the shifter, and I do, and yes I'm a 4.0, and I think 14.75 is very respectful considering the few power mods I have, stock she ran 15.75, and on top of all that, I'll say it again, this shifter project isnt about making the car go faster, its about making the car more fun to drive
I don't disagree with the times or the fun, all my point is if your car goes faster when you shift your self- a good tuner or some trail and error with a tuner can fix that. If you adjust the computer to shift the trans at the same point that you manual shift it, you can go the same et.
Ok i got that, but its more trouble then its worth to me, because I'm always going to shift it myself, I don't even know where I shift at because I don't look at the tach.
But I appreciate the help.
