So I have seen there are a few people who have struck the 10's on the stock motor.
What do you think it would take to hit 10's?

Do you think one could do it with:
500rwhp-ish, (10psi with support mods)
Good Tune
ET Streets,
Driveshaft,
Clutch,
D-Specs adjusted perfectly,
Ice in a intercooler tank (Moroso persay)
1/4 to 1/2 Tank of gas,
Remove such things as rear seat, all speakers, door panels, (Can you change passanger seat with drivers?) passanger seat.
Rear Battery Relocation.
1500ft above sea level 15*C (69*F)

Do you think one could hit 10.99???

500rwhp on an auto yes, people are already doing it.. on a manual i dont think anyone has done it yet at 500rwhp BUT i could be wrong.

i would have to say yes or get damn close...my best is 11.7 at 4800 ft...i am at 496 hp but pushing 13lb of boost.

Alternative Auto broke into the high tens for a stock motor with 16psi and meth with a Vortech S/C. Believe it was about 530 RWHP that accomplished it and everything else is stock on 20's with street tires!.... I will look for the link.....wait

keep reading and he does 10.9 @127 mph w/ 1.61 60' time on 20's! but yes this was in an AUTO!

hotrodharry ran a best of 10.881 on a stock motor and stock suspension using an auto with a saleen blower. His time was 10.881 @ 126.79 using JDM race tune putting down 507RWHP. He was seeing a peak boost of 13.5 PSI.. Just thought i would share that.

With an auto or stick I would choose slicks instead of DRs.

Better luck with an auto not so much with a stick.

I'm trying for 10's on stock motor. I got 11.9 on my second trip to the track but I keep breaking my transmission's. I'm on my third already hopefully I get the car back before the tracks close!

I just have to learn how to launch my car and figure out the correct tire pressure which I haven't found yet. I know my car can do it but driver error keeps getting in the way.

Best I have gotten is an 11.73 at 121 with a horrid 1.96 60ft.
