Default Brenspeed tune - Is this normal?

I just installed the Brenspeed JLT CAI and 93-octane tune.

The tune is very smooth, but to me, it seems a little less torquey than the stock tune at low RPMs.

Once the engine spins up to 3k and above, the power comes in nicely. There is definitely more power than before because with stock, the tires would only give a light chirp when I dump the clutch in 2nd. But now I can definitely hear them for about 1 1/2 seconds in 2nd.

Is it normal for the tune to seem more tame at lower RPMs?

Yep, this has been stated by others before. Perfectly normal. Enjoy your tune! =]

That's odd, cause my car will spin them for about 2 solid seconds now. And I'm on a stock tune with just flows

Just ordered the C&L racer and tune from Brenspeed. Hope my experience will match all of yours.
