Default Passenger side window

Anybody have problems with the automatic up/down feature on the passenger side window. The window works just not the auto part of it. Also when you open the door the window drops normally but then when you close it it doesn't go back up on its own, anybody have this problem and if so what did you do to fix it (car is no longer under warranty 36500 miles)

+1 on the manual. It's a simple recalibration procedure.

Correct^^^

But just 500 miles after the expired warranty? Ford sure was cutting that one close!

You can't look at it as a failure or warranty related issue. So many things on our Stangs are computer controlled and like most computers, sometimes programming gets corrupted or the operating system needs to be rebooted. It seems to me that those that have had this problem may have had it happen early and others late in ownership. I have a sneaking suspicion that a number of "glitches" are due to brief low voltage conditions and possibly a hint that the battery may need to be checked. With all the electronics and chronic stock battery issues, it's a surprise we don't have more problems like this IMO.

I had that problem with the driver side window. It lasted for about a day or two and right when I was going to call the dealer, it suddenly started working again. I haven't had a problem since. So I suggest either tough talking the window or threatening to call it's mother.

I've had that problem before. A simple recalibration fixes it for me.

Recalibration FTW!
The window motor controls got out of sync.

Mine won't go all the way down and it doesn't drop fast enough when opening the door. I'm afraid my wife is going to break it one day getting in the car. I've tried recalibrating it to no avail. I've thought about lowering the window down, but then i'm afraid it won't seal when all the way up.

The oddest part is sometimes it does go all the way down with a noticeable thud, but it never drops fast enough when opening the passenger door. Drivers side works perfect.
