cant realy hear it inside the car (very feintly when it first starts.) Cant really here it outside with hood down. I left the headliner in so I think it muffels it slightly. Not nearly as loud as with hood up anyway. I'm gonna go let it idle for like 20 minutes and open again and record for a comparison cold / hot.

until you verify the oil level, i wouldn't
run it anymore. i know you're on top
of things, i just don't want you to hurt
anything

I would check the oil level and if it looks good don't worry about it. I have had to saleen blowers and they both sound like yours and run mid 11's time after time. I'm sure yours is fine.

hmm.... all those mods and only mid 11s? I mean no offense there, I guess I was just hoping for more. I'll let you know when and what I run. Though I have 4.10s and dont have drag radials so I'm not expecting much of my own ;-)

Sea Level FTW! (well, my track is actually 66 ft above sea level)

Are the Saleens really that loud at idle? With the hood popped and standing in front of my car, if you weren't looking at it, you wouldn't even know that a whipple was sitting on top of my engine.
